Persian Marriage Ceremony

Arrival
Transportation will be provided to and from the Lauretum. We highly encourage use of our buses to ensure your timely arrival. As with the church ceremony, no late guests will be permitted to enter during the duration of the Persian marriage ceremony.
For those driving, you may park onsite. Please arrive no later than 4:45pm / 16:45.
Cocktail hour, dinner reception, and afterparty will follow at the Lauretum.
Dress Code
Black-tie preferred.
Men may opt for dark formal suits or tuxedos; women for formal floor-length gowns. The Persian ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather-permitting. We are likely to experience fall weather by this time and encourage you to bring a covering or coat.
Performances by multilingual pop singer, Navan, among other artists.
Departure
The first buses will depart the Lauretum at midnight, followed by buses departing at 1:00am, 2:00am, and 3:00am. Buses will drop guests off here, slightly outside of Bruges’s historic center, and to the recommended hotels only. We will have taxis available at the drop off point to take guests home as well.
For those that prefer a direct transfer to their accommodation at night, we recommend booking a ride in advance with TAXI SNEL (+32 478 35 35 35 / info@taxisnel.be). Uber also operates in the outskirts of Bruges.

Order of the Day
Our first ceremony will be held in the historic center at Sint-Annakerk (St. Anne's Church) – home to the single largest painting in all of Bruges –, followed by a second cultural ceremony in the gardens of the Lauretum, hidden in the outskirts of Bruges, where the Flemish tradition of growing bay trees still runs strong.

Transportation will not be provided to the church due to city restrictions. The church is walking distance to all recommended hotels (within a 15-minute walk). No late guests will be permitted to enter during the duration of the ceremony.
Please arrive no later than 2:45pm / 14:45.

Arrival
Welcome to the Venice of the North, the hometown of the groom’s family. Our festivities will begin with a Bruges-inspired feast under the stars. Small plates, drinks, and a spread of Belgian delicacies will be served at the rooftop courtyard to the sounds of classical opera and piano nocturnes. Speeches and afterparty will follow until midnight.
Please enter through the doors on the side of Mariastraat 38 and take the stairs one level up to the outdoor courtyard. Oud Sint-Jan is in the heart of the city center and walking distance to our recommended hotels (both within a 10-minute walk). No transportation will be provided for this event.
For those driving, the nearest parking lot is Zonnekemeers.
Dress Code
Black cocktail attire is required.
Men may opt for dark suit jackets that are not black. Those walking to the venue should be mindful of Bruges’s cobbled roads. The courtyard is grassy in part.
